NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

THE Montana Farm and Ranch Hunter Access Appreciation Sweepstakes (“SWEEPSTAKES”) BEGINS AT 12:00:00 AM EASTERN TIME (“ET”) ON 7/1/21 and ENDS AT 11:59:59 PM ET ON 8/1/21 (“SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD”).

SWEEPSTAKES CONSISTS OF FOURTEEN (14) PRIZE DRAWINGS TO BE CONDUCTED AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD. REFER TO THE “HOW TO ENTER A PRIZE DRAWING” SECTION IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES FOR SPECIFICS ON A PRIZE DRAWING.

ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (except in the state of Washington), age 18 years or older at time of entry (referred to hereafter as “you” and/or “Entrant”). Subject to all applicable federal and state and local laws and regulations. Void in Washington State and where prohibited by law. Employees and their immediate families (parents, children, spouse, siblings) of the TRCP or MeatEater ("the Sponsors"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, sales representatives and/or distributors, and all other companies involved with the development or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively referred to “Released Parties’) and their immediate families, advertising and promotion agencies and those living in the same household of each (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter.

HOW TO ENTER A PRIZE DRAWING: To enter a Prize Drawing, visit the URL indicated on the offer and follow all onscreen instructions to make a donation and to select which Prize Drawing you wish to enter (“Online Entry”). Your Online Entry must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET 8/1/21. Or, to enter the Sweepstakes without making a donation (Postcard Entry”), hand print your name, complete address, phone number, email address along with the Prize Drawing you wish to enter on a postcard and mail postcard to: Montana Farm and Ranch Hunter Access Appreciation Sweepstakes Postcard Entry, 1203 N. Rouse Ave. #3E, Bozeman, MT 59715. Postcard entries must be mailed separately and must be postmarked by 8/2/21 and receive by 8/9/21. Each postcard entry will grant ten (10) entries in the Prize Drawing you wish to enter.

Entry Period Deadlines & Prize Details

LIMIT: REGARDLESS OF DONATION STATUS, THERE IS A MAXIMUM LIMIT OF 500 ENTRIES PER PERSON/EMAIL ADDRESS FOR THE ENTIRE ENTRY PERIOD.

IF NO ENTRIES ARE RECEIVED FOR A GIVEN PRIZE DRAWING, THE CORRESPONDING PRIZE WILL NOT BE AWARDED.

All online entry notices posted at website apply, including but not limited to the TRCP Privacy Policy, available at https://www.trcp.org/privacy-policy/. Entries are deemed to be made by authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, illegible, postage due and/or misdirected entries. No mechanical reproductions of entries accepted. All entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged.

PRIZE DETAILS: Limit: One prize per household. Maximum VRV of prizes: $10,739.93. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All winners are responsible for any applicable expenses not expressly stated in offer, including federal, state and local income and sales taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees, any options not included and expenses associated with claiming or picking up prizes. Any winner of a firearm prize must conform to all local, state and federal regulations as applicable and must make arrangements for delivery of firearms with appropriate federally licensed firearms dealers as required by State and Federal law. Any winner whose potential selection to win a firearm prize would otherwise be in violation of federal, state, or local law will receive an alternate prize of equal value selected at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

If for any reason whatsoever, a firearm prize winner is not able to accept the prize due to reasons such as, but not limited to physical impairment, mental disability, etc., he or she will receive an alternate prize at Sponsor’s discretion. Prizes are not redeemable for cash, exchange or transferable, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, who reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of similar or greater value if any prize or any portion thereof is unavailable. Winners acknowledge Sponsor and all other businesses concerned with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of prize except that the prize shall be subject to manufacturer’s stated warranty, if any.

ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries recieved per each Prize Drawing's Entry Period. 

WINNER SELECTION and NOTIFICATION: Every Prize Drawing winner (referred to hereafter as a “potential winner or winners”) will be selected at random from all eligible entries received for a given Prize Drawing. Each Prize Drawing will be conducted on or about 8/16/21 by the Sponsor’s agent (“judges”) whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Potential winners will be selected on 8/17/21 and notified via email, phone call, mail and/or courier within three (3) business days after random drawing. To receive a prize, at Sponsor’s discretion, each potential winner will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability which must be signed and returned (along with any other documentation the Sponsor reasonably requires for prize fulfillment, such as, but not limited to, providing proof of identity) within five (5) days of date printed on notification or the potential winner will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be determined. Potential winners may also be required to furnish his/her taxpayer identification number information by completing and submitting a W-9 Form before the awarding of any prize to comply with IRS tax reporting requirements. If a potential winner fails to respond within five (5) days, or if notification is returned as undeliverable, that potential winner will be disqualified, and an alternate will be determined. Prizes will be awarded within approximately thirty (30) days of each winner’s verification, except in delay of availability. Sponsor is not responsible for such delays. Winners bear risk of loss or damage for failure to pick up their prize. If a prize is not picked up after 30 days, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random.

GENERAL: By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Entrant (i) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of a prize constitute permission to use each winner’s name, photograph, hometown, likeness, and prize won (all at Sponsor’s discretion) for future advertising, publicity in all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, release, or permission. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of any prize or for any suspension of the Sweepstakes or inability to implement the Sweepstakes or award the prizes as contemplated herein due to any event beyond its control, including delays or interruptions caused by acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, utility outages, acts of terrorism or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or regulator. Sponsor reserves the right to act to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; (ii) suspend the collection of entries if the Sweepstakes becomes unfairly impaired in any way and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to such action. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. All disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES. ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY’S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT and WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER WITH OR VANDALIZE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL and CIVIL LAWS and SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES and DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES and CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

RELEASE: Entrants on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Releasing Parties”), release, defend and hold harmless Sponsor, any entity involved in the fulfillment of the prizes or the administration of the Sweepstakes, and their respective employees, officers, directors and agents of each (“Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, extent, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law, admiralty or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter can, shall or may have which in any way arise out of or result from entrant’s participation, acceptance and use or misuse of any prize won, including property damage, personal injury or death.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant expressively waives and relinquishes all rights and benefits afforded by California Civil Code 1542 and does so understanding and acknowledging the significance of this waiver. Section 1542 states as follows: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DID NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN, BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR THE RELEASED PARTIES.”

NOTICE TO ONLINE ENTRANTS: In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the email address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; or (ii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes.
